The PNP Detective School

Our focus to enhance our PNP personnel’s investigative capabilities are complemented by the PNP’s Detective School.

The PNP Detective School has conducted a  total  of  eight (8)  Criminal Investigation and Detective Development Course (CIDDC) participated in by 550 PNCOs including the courses conducted in PRO 3, 9 and COR.

Likewise, the PNP Detective School was chosen by the Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC) to conduct Public Safety Officer Basic Course (PSOBC). For the year 2006, 1 PSOBC was conducted participated in by 42 PCOs and was held at the PNP Maritime Group Compound in Camp Crame.

For  the  past  year,  a total of 176 PCOs and 779 PNCOs coming from various PNP units attended various  short-tern  investigative and detective      management courses conducted by the PNP Detective School These short-term courses  include  Seminar  on  Laws  and and Jurisprudence and Seminar-Workshop on Convention Prevention of Public Accountability.

On the enhancement of trainings being offered, the Technical Working Group headed by PCSUPT RODOLFO B MENDOZA JR, Deputy Director, DIDM led to the creation of the Criminal Undercover Operations Management  Course,  the newest course offered at the PNP Detective School. It will be offered starting the 1st Quarter of CY 2007.
