NCRPO "GOOD TO GO" FOR FPJ FUNERAL

The National Capital Region Police Office under PDIR AVELINO RAZON has made preparations for the funeral rites of the late Fernando Poe Jr. In the plan, the NCRPO shall provide area and site security, traffic management, parking plan, route security and crowd control.

The plan which calls for the organization of a task force aptly named “Task Force FPJ” shall be headed by the District Director, CPD, PSSUPT NICASIO RADOVAN.

Four (4) Task Groups were likewise commissioned to address concerns to ensure an orderly, peaceful and secured funeral rites during the wake at Arlington Funeral Homes to Sto. Domingo Church up to the final ceremonies in the North Cemetery on December 22, 2004.

Task Group “Daloy” under the Group Director, Traffic Enforcement Group, NCRPO will be in charge of parking and traffic management along the route to be used from Arlington Funeral Homes to Sto Domingo Church and eventually to manila North Cemetery .

Task Group “Antabay” headed by the Group Director of the Regional Action Unit will provide EOD and K9 units to panel Sto Domingo Church on a regular basis and the final resting site on December 22. Crowd Control Management will also be undertaken by this particular task group.

Task Group “ Rota ” led by the Deputy District Director for Operations of the CPD will be in charge of route and area security in all areas of activities.

Task Group “Libingan” under the Deputy District Director of the WPD will make sure that the North Cemetery is safe and secure.

“As tasked, the NCRPO has made sufficient preparations for this meaningful event”, said NCRPO Director Avelino Razon.

Meanwhile, all the other police districts within Metro Manila remain on the alert in case of any eventualities. “The NCRPO is Good to Go to secure the final rites for FPJ” Razon added.
