POLICE PMAyers EXPRESS SUPPORT TO AGLIPAY

Police officers who graduated from the Philippine Military Academy expressed unwavering support to the leadership of PNP Chief, Director General Edgar B Aglipay.

In a testimonial dinner in honor of Aglipay, members of the Police Cavaliers Association Inc. (PCAI) also expressed “renewed commitment as enforcers of the law and protectors of the Filipino people.”

PCAI was organized as the PNP Chapter of the PMA Alumni Association, Inc. Some active members of PCAI are currently holding sensitive positions in the PNP.

PCAI Chairman, Director Avelino Razon Jr. said “the PCAI remains one with the rest of the Philippine National Police in expressing to the Chief PNP our utmost support to your leadership.”

“We say with all candor that the PNP and the rest of our countrymen are indeed fortunate to have General Aglipay as the country's top law enforcer,” Razon said.

He added, “No one could have been more deserving. As I have always said, he is nothing less than service, honor and justice personified.”

During the ceremony, PCAI President Samuel Pagdilao Jr. awarded Aglipay with a saber as a token of the organization's gratitude.

In his response, Aglipay quoted the world famous author John Maxwell who said that “members of government, including the PNP and AFP, should develop the highest form of leadership style known as servant leadership.”

Aglipay said, “It means placing the interest of the country and people above your individual concerns and comfort.”

“If you are made to choose between the welfare of your family and your country, you choose your country without hesitation,” Aglipay said.
