PACER UNCOVERS MURDER JOB BEHIND ABDUCTION OF 2 WOMEN The Police Anti-Crime and Emergency Response (PACER) in coordination with the Valenzuela Police Station have gathered significant leads in the investigation of the abduction and killing of two women in Cabanatuan City . In his report to PNP Chief, Director General Edgar B Aglipay, PACER Chief, Senior Superintendent Alan M Purisima said the abduction of victims Uldarica Prado and Myrna Navales was a murder job. “From all indications, it was not a kidnap-for-ransom case. The victims were abducted with a murderous motive,” Purisima said. PACER gathered that Prado, Navales, and another victim were abducted at gunpoint by three male suspects from the Homeowners' Association office of Green Valley Subdivision in Punturin, Valenzuela City at 5:00 PM of November 20. Prado was an insurance agent and treasurer of the homeowners association, while Navales was the club president. PACER is now providing security to the third victim, a certain Roberta. According to Purisima, Roberta managed to escape from the suspects' vehicle somewhere along Andols Subdivision in Langka, Meycauayan, Bulacan. According to Purisima, investigators have established “very significant” leads in the investigation of the case. “We have been in close contact with the family of the victims since the time the abduction was reported to us,” Purisima said. He said a PACER Team was immediately assigned to handle the case, to monitor any possible communication with the victims of the abductors. “Until late afternoon of November 21, the abductors never called the family of the victims,” Purisima said. It was only later that day when PACER received a report about the discovery of the bodies of two women at Sitio Batobato, Bagong Daan, Barangay Sumacab Este, Cabanatuan City . Physical evidence recovered at the scene included three empty shells and one live cartridge for a 12-guage shotgun. |
