10 TF LIMBAS OPERATIVES RETURN TO POST PNP Chief, Director General Arturo C Lomibao today instructed Traffic Management Group Director, Chief Superintendent Augusto P Angcanan to lift the administrative relief orders issued to ten officers and personnel of TMG Task Force Limbas who figured in a shootout with carjackers in Pasig City last Monday. “The ten Task Force Limbas personnel will continue to perform duty, but, will be made available when called for investigation by any probe body. The anti-carjacking campaign shall continue without let-up,” Lomibao said. They are: Senior Inspectors Henry Cerdon, Hansel Marantan and Samson Belmonte; Police Officers 3 Lloyd Soria and Rizalito Ramos; Police Officers 2 Dexter Bernadas, Jesus Fermin and Sonny Robrigado; and Police Officers 1 Fernando Gapuz and Josel Rey Lucena. The ten Task Force Limbas operatives were earlier relieved from post by Angcanan pending the outcome of an investigation by a fact-finding body that will determine if Police Operational Procedures were followed during the encounter in Pasig City. Lomibao also instructed Angcanan to immediately conduct refresher training courses on Police Operational Procedures for other operatives of the TMG. The PNP Chief also appealed to other victims of carjacking and witnesses to provide the TMG with more information to strengthen the government campaign. The PNP will continue its relentless anti-crime operations with the active support of the community, Lomibao said. |
