NOT RELATED TO CHIEF PNP PNP Chief, Director General Arturo C Lomibao clarified his alleged blood relationship with a 23-year shooting victim of a fraternity war in Cebu City last night. Nonetheless, the PNP Chief directed the Police Regional Office-7 under Chief Superintendent Eduardo Gador to launch a manhunt for three suspects tagged as responsible for the killing of Kail Calis Lomibao Capsa, 23 years old, of Barangay San Magno, Cebu City. Capsa was shot dead inside his house at around 10:00 PM last night. Several witnesses identified RG Moreno, Sander Abregana and Kaluha Fernandez as the victim's attackers, who belong to a rival fraternity. “I sympathize with the family of the victim of this senseless violence. I assure the Capsa family of swift police action to give justice to Kail's death,” Lomibao said. Earlier reports identified Capsa as Lomibao's grandson by a distant niece who is presently working abroad. Lomibao, however, clarified that his family hails from Pangasinan and not from Cebu. “But whether the victim is my relative or not, the PNP will insure that the ends of justice will be served,” the PNP Chief said. |
