PNPA NOW ACCEPTING APPLICANTS

The Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA) is now accepting applicants to take the Cadet Admission Test for the four-year Bachelor of Science in Public Safety Cadetship Program.

According to PNPA Director Police Chief Superintendent Danilo Q Abarzosa, the examination will be held in different PNPA testing centers nationwide on October 28 at 7 a.m

Successful cadet applicants will compose PNPA Class 2013 as full government scholars and are entitled to receive monthly training pay and allowances.

PNPA graduates are appointed the initial rank of inspectors (1st Lieutenant in the military) and are assured of regular commissionship in the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) and Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP).

Applicants for the Cadetship Program must be natural born Filipino citizens, male or female, single with no legal obligation to support a child or children, at least 4th year high school and about to graduate prior to admission, 17 to 21 years old (born between March 15, 1985 to March 14, 1990), at least 5’4” tall for males and 5’2” for females, physically and mentally fit, of good moral character and without criminal, administrative, civil and other derogatory record.

Application forms are available for free at the PNP, BFP, BJMP,  regional, provincial and municipal units, Police Regional Training Schools, PNPA Alumni Association Inc., local government units and selected secondary schools, colleges and universities or downloadable from the PNP website at www.pnpa.edu.ph.

Applicants may submit application forms with stamped window envelope addressed to The Registrar, PNPA, Camp Castañeda, Silang, Cavite, not later than September 28, 2008.
