The Philippine National Police formally launched today a new mobile app that provides an electronic platform for public access to PNP front-line services. iSerbis complements other existing mobile apps developed by the PNP such as the ITAGA MO SA BATO, Bantay-Krimen; and is linked with similar service apps of other government agencies.
POLICE RESCUE TEAMS SHIFT TO RELIEF AND REHAB OPERATIONS

Police search and rescue and disaster response teams remain deployed in different areas in Luzon that were hardest hit by severe flooding from three days of monsoon rains.
A total of 4,058 police personnel mostly from disaster-response capable units are providing assistance to local governments to reach stranded communities and to implement evacuation of residents in high-risk areas.
PNP Chief, Director General Oscar D Albayalde, flew to several affected areas in Luzon and Metro Manila to personally assess the situation and condition at the evacuation centers.
He took note of the need to deploy more PNP resources and personnel to assist in relief and rehabilitation efforts.

Misencounter in Samar

PNP Chief Police Director General Oscar Albayalde together with AFP Chief-of-Staff General Carlito Galvez, Jr. and the PNP Command Group paid respect to the wake of the police officers killed during the misencounter in Samar and provided financial assistance to the families.
PDG Albayalde also visited the wounded cops in the hospital and awarded medals to honor their bravery and courage. He also gave financial assistance to their families.
